Established in 1952 by Gene Kopp, The Cove boasts a storied past, evolving from a cinderblock roofing store to a beloved local hub. Gene's son, Richard, brought a nautical and tiki theme, transforming the décor. Finger steaks, introduced as "steak fingers," remain a cherished staple since the early days. Charlotte Meyers, the next owner, fostered a familial atmosphere, hosting lively parties and connecting deeply with patrons. In 2005, Debra and Johnny Urrutia took the helm, infusing new energy. They revamped spaces, added outdoor seating, and preserved the rich history. The Cove thrives as a testament to community, blending a vibrant past with the spirit of today.
